3xChopin is a stunning and unprecedented project undertaken to celebrate the Chopin Year in honor of the 200th anniversary of the composer’s birth. Three generations of Chopin’s music interpreters, three unique personalities, and three diverse visions of the works of this genius. Ewa Pob?ocka is a distinguished classical pianist, a recipient of top awards at international piano competitions in Vercelli, Bordeaux and Warsaw, and a top Polish music award Fryderyk (Polish Grammy). The Music Magazine in Japan described her artistry as combining “the female delicacy [with] the male powerful pianism.” Andrzej Jagodzi?ski is a leader of the renowned jazz trio (with Adam Cegielski on bass and Czes?aw Bartkowski on drums) and a precursor of jazz interpretations of Chopin’s music. He has distinguished himself for creating both intellectually and emotionally charged interpretations as well as magical and captivating ambiance. Leszek Mo?d?er represents the youngest generation of jazz pianists, a dazzling entertainer, who is always pushing the boundaries and exploring the possibilities that the instrument offers.
All tickets purchased online will be held at the Roswell Cultural Arts Center Box Office - Will-Call and will be available one hour prior to the concert.
